I live up in Vermont and fish Lake Champlain as much as possible. My friend and I purchased all three models of the backstabber's. I must say that these baits are of the highest quality. They do exactly what they are supposed too. They really do hook the fish on the top of the mouth, the fish really stay hooked much better than traditional crankbaits, i'm sure the fully rotating hooks really assist with that. When you examine one of the baits at first you are attracted to the great paint, but what really matters are the other features. The split rings are high quality, the hooks are very nice, I actually was unhooking a smallmouth and had one of the hooks go through my finger nail and almost out the tip of my finger, very painful, but thats a sharp hook! The thing i like about this lures most is there fishability/versatility. Not only does the backstabber design keep fish buttoned, but these lures do not hang up nearly as much as a traditional crankbaits, they also pull through weeds better. These crankbaits have all of the features you could think of, there is nothing overlooked in there design. I can't wait for more depth ranges to be available, i'm really hoping for a 5-7' asap. On the first day of use, my buddy bruce landed the biggest largemouth I have ever seen out of champlain, you can see the pic on the bragging board. Keith keep up the good work, i can't wait to write some more!!! Attachments:

Hi Keith,
I also live up on Lake Champlain and have fished alongside Jason and Bruce (I was also in the boat the day we caught the 7plus pounder and was the net boy for it). I have seen these lures produce when no other lures can. The red sexy lipless has been one of our go to lures during the early season and as the fish move deeper in the heat of the summer we usually move over to the deeper diving crankbaits. The lure style offers a versatility offered by no other lure on the market these days and most certainly aids in hooks sets on the top of the lip. I have had trouble in the past with pulling the bait through on traditional crankbaits as I have a severe tendency to drive home my hooksets but the unique design on this lure, with hook on top, has aided my hooksets in the top lip of some large smallmouth bass. I've always been a person to believe 'the proof is in the pudding' and so far as any of my buddies can tell.....THESE LURES WORK! not only do they work but they work on large fish. Keep up the great work and I look forward to new designs and finishes in the upcomming years.
